The Challenge
Shortly after this brand new New York property opened it had to close its doors. A pipe broke in the elevator room above the 50th floor due to freezing.
Water ran down the elevator shafts and pipe chases wetting every floor. The elevators stopped working, there were icicles hanging from the elevator doors, and the lobby became a sheet of ice.
The Solution
