CRC at PLRB Boston: Leading the [R]Evolution of Service

CRC to Join Insurance Professionals in Boston, Mass., for 3 Days to Discuss the Future of Service

CRC will attend the PLRB Claims Conference & Insurance Services Expo from Sunday, March 17th to Wednesday, March 20th, at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts. For three days, members of the CRC team will meet with insurance professionals to share ideas about how partnering with CRC could revolutionize the services insurance professionals offer and make the process of restoration and insurance claims smoother and more efficient.

The event expects to draw up to 3,500 attendees and exhibitors nationwide. Attending the PLRB conference means that insurance professionals and CRC are committed to staying at the forefront of innovation. It also means visiting the fantastic city of Boston!

We asked our CRC team what excites them about attending the Claims Conference and traveling to Boston. Here is what they said:

What are you looking forward to at this conference?

Reconnecting with many clients and vendors and our CRC team that we don’t get to see face to face every day and making new acquaintances. We like to see what is popular in the exhibit hall, do some in-person market research, and discover hot topics at the conference and what is currently trending in insurance.

Have you been to Boston, Massachusetts before? If so, do you have places you could recommend to those traveling to Boston for the PLRB Claims Conference & Insurance Services Expo?

For the sports fan, we recommend taking in a Boston Red Sox baseball game at America’s oldest major league baseball facility, the 112-year-old Fenway Park. This venue will surely please both sports fans and sports history buffs.

For dining experiences, Boston is known for its tasty seafood, and aside from seafood, dining in Little Italy for some great Italian food is always an option. For TV show buffs, you can also visit the Cheers Bar on Beacon Hill, the inspiration for the 1982 hit sitcom Cheers, where everybody knows your name.

For scenic options, visit the Boston Seaport, take a stroll on the Harborwalk, or check out the Boston Tea Party Ships Museum. Boston is a centuries-old city along America’s Eastern Seaboard and offers historic walking tours, allowing you to learn the vast history of this charming city.

For insurance professionals attending the PLRB Claims Conference and seeking restoration companies and services, we’ve compiled a list of top questions to ask prospective companies to ensure they are qualified and meet your specific needs.

  1. Are you timely in responding and implementing?
  2. Is your company certified, and are your teams staffed with proven, certified, and experienced team members?
  3. What is your company’s area of expertise: Mitigation, restoration, build back, capital improvement?
  4. What is your company’s coverage footprint?
  5. How long has your company been in business?
  6. Do they specialize in a particular service or industry: habitational, industrial, public entity, healthcare, etc.?
  7. What is your safety rating, and how do you prioritize safety?
  8. Ask them about their communication practices - how often do they provide updates, and what information do those updates contain?
  9. Do you have references, and can you provide examples of your work?
  10. Can we vet your team about being our preferred restoration partner for our properties? Can we set up a meeting post-event?

If you are attending the PLRB Claims Conference & Insurance Services Expo, be sure to stop by CRC booth #325 to meet our team and discuss how CRC can help you revolutionize your services.

We hope to see you there!
